There is room for you in our vision…

Community Living Wallaceburg is a progressive association that enables people to realize their potential and choises within inclusive communities. All people have something to offer if given the opportunity to get involved.  Our team of employees and volunteers are committed to enabling people to find their place in the community by providing quality supports and services that are second to none.

EMPLOYMENT

With a staff of over 200 and a volunteer base of 75, the agency adapts its resources and utilizes community contacts to provide support to over 450 individuals and their families in Wallaceburg and Chatham-Kent. The agency is a leader in offering person-centred, outcome driven services with opportunities for direct funding in the areas of accommodations, jobmatch and Employment SupportsSpecial Services at Home and community participation.

VOLUNTEERING

A person’s most valuable possessions are their talents and gifts.  Volunteers give generously of their time and talents enhancing services available to people with an intellectual disability and their families, some of which would not be possible without their involvement.

If you are able to provide transportation, create a sports or recreational partnership, provide an opportunity for individuals to volunteer, support someone to become involved in their community, tutor for reading, crafts, computers or cooking, or if you would like to be a companion you may want to consider a volunteer position.
