2011 Box Lunch

Community Living Wallaceburg Creates Appetite for Awareness, Nets $4,100!

Community Living Wallaceburg wishes to thank the communities of Chatham-Kent for participating in its recent Box Lunch fundraiser. Residents and businesses across the municipality had more than 1,300 boxed lunches delivered to their homes and workplaces.

Net proceeds from the event topped $4,100, and the funds will enhance services and supports to more than 450 people with intellectual disabilities and their families.

The Box Lunch would not have been possible without a dedicated group of over 60 volunteers. “It took a large commitment from a number of people to make the Box Lunch a success, and the generous support from Chatham-Kent residents and businesses was overwhelming,” said Ron Laroche, the agency’s Coordinator, Communications and Fund Development.

Thank you to all our generous sponsors!
