Community Living Wallaceburg (the “Agency”) will have a strategic planned and accountable approach for all purchasing activities. All procedures will align with its legislative requirements, policies and procedures, Mission, Vision and Principles.
The use of a Tender will be the normal practice for all purchases that exceed the threshold limits as outlined in the Purchasing Policy. Any deviation of this Policy must first be discussed with the Executive Director and written authorization to not move forward with a Tender must be obtained.
The guiding principle is that purchasing decisions will be made using a competitive process that is open, transparent and fair.
This Policy is applicable to all Agency employees so authorized to make purchases on behalf of the Agency.
