Just one of the many new and exciting initiatives Community Living Wallaceburg is hosting to celebrate and advocate the importance of inclusivity, “The Future is Bright,” is a concert featuring country music entertainer Crystal Gage, hosted at Chatham-Kent’s premier country setting, The Red Barn Brewing Company just north of Blenheim.
Based out of Windsor, Crystal has travelled all over North America performing more than 250 shows per year, and opened for artists such as Big & Rich, Emerson Drive and Gretchen Wilson. One of her most prideful endeavors, however, is a show she has co-produced called the “Give Peace a Chance” tour. The tour is sponsored by “Make Children Better Now” – a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of children. Crystal has also
worked as an advocate alongside individuals living with disabilities talking about bullying and respect, hopeful to inspire kids for a brighter future. Andrew Dawson, Fund Development & Communications Specialist for Community Living Wallaceburg shared, “Having worked closely with Crystal on one of her past Respect Tours in Chatham-Kent, I couldn’t think of a better performer to reach out to for this event. Not only is she a true advocate of inclusivity, but a fan favourite amongst the individuals we support as well.”
An iconic building on the outskirts of Blenheim, the Red Barn Brewing Company is the perfect venue for this event; a beautiful big red barn in a country setting, a country music entertainer, a hearty BBQ meal and a good time, the ultimate setting for an awesome night. Denny Vervaet, owner of the Red Barn Brewing Company admits, “We’re big supporters when it comes to our community, and we have built a great partnership with Community Living Wallaceburg over the past year. We are happy to be hosting such a great event!”
The Concert takes place at 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 25 and tickets, available for $60, can be purchased online at https://getintocommunityliving.com/the-future-is-bright, or by visiting 1100 Dufferin Ave, Wallaceburg. Join us for a beverage, meal and the concert in one of Chatham-Kent’s most iconic breweries to celebrate an inclusive community.
