Event History

Dine to Donate – CK was introduced as a way to join the GivingTuesday Movement, held during the entire week of this national day.

GivingTuesday is a Global Movement participated in by establishments from across the globe, raising over 20 billion dollars to date. This worldwide initiative shifts its gaze from the for-profit sector and shines a light on not-for-profits and those in need.

Over the years, it has become one of the few days each year that donors look for charities to support, backed by the significant increase in giving statistics on November 28.

Supporting this initiative not only offers businesses the opportunity to give back to those in need, but also engage the help of the community and create the possibility for greater customer flow.

As a result of the popularity and overwhelmingly positive response of local restaurants, the Dine to Donate has been reenvisioned into a year-long initiative. This strategic pivot allows for more businesses to join the movement of giving, while providing a greater opportunity for community members to participate.
