Community Living Wallaceburg will have lunch covered for hundreds of workplaces, schools and homes across Chatham-Kent, as the agency prepares for its Box Lunch fundraiser on Thursday, April 6. Now in its 17th year, the event raises needed resources and draws attention to the many services and programs offered to more than 400 people with intellectual disabilities and their families across Chatham-Kent.

“We are excited to be serving up lunch to the local community again for our 17th year” said Lisa Caron, Communications and Fund Development Specialist for Community Living Wallaceburg. “This event would not be possible without the generous efforts of our sponsors, local businesses and the many volunteers who assist every year.”

Each box lunch consists of a choice of three sandwiches (Chicken Caesar, Ham and Swiss or Veggie and Cheddar Cheese) served on a fresh Kaiser bun, along with coleslaw, a piece of fruit, dessert and a beverage. Available for $10, box lunches must be preordered no later than March 27th. Order forms are online at clwboxlunch.com or by visiting the office at 1100 Dufferin Ave, Wallaceburg.
