Join the Giving Tuesday Movement Across CK
Local restaurants have partnered with Community Living Wallaceburg this November to promote giving throughout Chatham-Kent, encouraging the community to “Dine to Donate” and engage in the GivingTuesday movement. People are invited to join the movement by visiting any or all participating restaurants on their respective dates between Monday, November 27, and Friday, December 1.
GivingTuesday is a Global Movement participated in by establishments from across the globe, raising over 20 billion dollars to date. This worldwide initiative shifts its gaze from consumerism to giving, shining a light on those in need and the non-profit organizations that support them.
Our new week-long campaign, Dine to Donate, offers Chatham-Kent the opportunity to support local while dining at one of the many restaurants in the community including Quo Vadis Pizzeria (both Chatham & Wallaceburg), Boston Pizza (Chatham), The Stubby Goat, Beef Meatz Bun, The Black Goose Grill, and The Glasstown Brewing Company – all located in Wallaceburg. Each participating restaurant will be offering a daily or weekly special during the week of Giving Tuesday with portions of sales donated to Community Living Wallaceburg.
