WALLACEBURG, Ontario – On Tuesday, September 19, 2023, Community Living Wallaceburg’s Wallaceburg Wolves Baseball Team will be taking on their staff in a special end of season game.

Having practiced in between this summer’s raindrops, players came out in full force to enjoy a fun game of baseball, and take turns hitting the ball and running bases, practicing their skills and enjoying the camaraderie. Daring to take on The Wolves in this Aaron VanDorsselaer Grand Slam end of season game are members of both Community Living Wallaceburg Board Members and employees.

As a tribute to their former coach, the late Aaron VanDorsselaer, members of his family will join us for the game, starting at 4:30 pm at Kinsmen Park, with a free BBQ immediatelyfollowing. Clay Scott, Manager of Community Participation & Family Supports for CLW has stepped in coach the team and admits, “Aaron left very big shoes to fill but we are trying to uphold his energy and enthusiasm in supporting both the players and this important inclusive activity in our community.”

We are asking members of the public to consider coming out to cheer on The Wolves and their staff opponents, and to enjoy a time of fellowship at the BBQ.

The Wolves also want to give a shout out to their 2023 t-shirt sponsor Abstract Marketing in Chatham for the team shirts!
